Eine in Deutschland als ausgestorben geltende Kurzflüglerart (B. Büche, pers. Mitt.). Die Art weist eine boreoalpine Verbreitung auf, die Lebensweise ist nicht näher bekannt. Eine Totholzbindung ist unwahrscheinlich, da eine solche innerhalb der Verwandtschaftsgruppe nicht vorkommt.
