Type. Holotype male ( Fig. 1): Brazil, Minas Gerais, 20 km. SE Itamonte, 1500 m, 21-III-1980, (Roppa, Carbonell & Roberts), MNRJ
Diagnosis. Similar to D. schrottkyi (Rehn) , differing mainly in smaller size and body slender, fastigium less prominent, smaller eyes, body color and shape of male cerci. Head and pronotum olive dark green, with dark post ocular band extending on pronotal lobes. Antennae brown. Fore and middle legs dark green dorsally, yellowish ventrally. Body ventral yellow. Tegmina with dorsal field creamy, lateral field brown. Hind femur, with upper marginal area and upper half of outer medial area dark olive green, lower marginal area and lower half of outer medial area bright red, inner face bright red. Hind tibiae dark green. Male cerci strongly incurved with rounded apex.
