Loc. 40b La Digue: On bark of dead tree Calophyllum inophyllum, AM 3903 (MC 117), TK2458.
Distinguishing features of this specimen are the spores 10-12 μm (x1000) instead of 6-9 μm as it is usual for Diderma saundersii , also they have dense fine warted ornamentation with darker groups of warts, the capillitium is thin hyaline with some hyaline warts, brownish orange inner layer.
