Remarks: The specimens examined in this study correspond with the range described for Rhabdias fuscovenosa ( Baker, 1978; Goodey, 1924; Jiménez­Ruiz, 1999) ( Table 3 View TABLE 3 ): they present six lateral lips grouped in two groups of three ( Baker, 1978) ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 . A), the equatorial vulva (slightly pre­equatorial in some of our specimens), size of the body and the characteristic shape of the tail ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 . B).
