The M. (Churingosia) chrysophleps species group
Diagnosis. The species of the group are characterised by the brown body and forewing colouration with pale ochreous suffusion on veins, and the distally blackish abdomen. In the male genitalia, the transverse medial lobe of the valva is setose, the distal carinal process is dilated basally, and the dorsal diverticulum of the phallus vesica is short and membranous. In the female genitalia, the gelatinous subostial pocket is markedly broader than the ostium bursae, and the posterior two-thirds of the ductus bursae are asymmetrically sclerotised with a longer left side almost reaching the anterior end of the ductus.
