Remarks.—A small green species with a transverse piceous fascia on the head. Body length is about 17–18 mm with a wingspan of about 54–60 mm ( Distant 1905d; specimen in hand).

Distribution.—The species is known only from Madagascar ( Metcalf 1963b).

Material examined.—“Tananarive / Madagascar / 11–III–1950 // CASENT / 3002756” one male ( AFSC) .
