Distribution in Iran. Mazandaran ( Farahani et al. 2015).

General distribution. Oriental, Palaearctic. Austria ( Shenefelt 1975) , Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Japan, Italy, Korea, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland ( Yu et al. 2012), England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales ( Knowler & Broad 2014; Broad et al. 2016).

Hosts. Lepidoptera—Noctuidae: Agrotis segetum (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775) ; Nymphalidae : Euphydryas aurinia (Rottemburg, 1775) ( Shenefelt 1975) .
