Distribution in Iran. Mazandaran ( Farahani et al. 2015).

Notes. Here we follow van Achterberg & Shaw (2016). Quicke & Shaw (unpublished) suggest that, according to DNA evidence, an aggregate of two species present in Europe and the Russian Far East are currently placed under A. seriatus remains problematic. However, this will be addressed in a future work by van Achterberg, Shaw & Quicke (in prep.).
