General distribution. Entire Palaearctic, Oriental. Afghanistan , Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, former Czechoslovakia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kamchatka , Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Madeira Islands , Manchuria , Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Transcaucasia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012), Algeria, Morocco ( Yu et al. 2012; Papp 2014), Japan ( Watanabe 1937 as Rhogas dimidiatus ), Siberia ( Watanabe 1935, 1937 as Rhogas dimidiatus ), Tunisia ( Yu et al. 2012; Papp 2014).
