Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan (Rastegar et al. 2012), Guilan (Sakenin et al. 2012), Qazvin ( Ghahari et al. 2011b).
General distribution. Palaearctic. Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Mongolia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Siberia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, UK, former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012), England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales ( Broad et al. 2016).
Hosts. Hymenoptera—Tenthredinidae: Cladius (Trichiocampus) aeneus (Zaddach, 1859) . Lepidoptera — Lasiocampidae : Euthrix potatoria (Linnaeus, 1758) . Noctuidae : Apamea sordens (Hufnagel, 1766) ; Apamea unanimis (Hübner, 1818) ; Leucania comma (Linnaeus, 1761) ; Mythimna comma Linnaeus ( Tobias, 1986) . Sesiidae : Synanthedon formicaeformis (Esper, 1782) ( Yu et al. 2012) .
