Macrobiotus harmsworthi Murray, 1907

Material examined. 43 specimens and four eggs were collected from the Huangguoshu Fall, 17 specimens from Langdeshang Village.

Remarks. This species was reported as a new record for China from Beijing Municipality and Guangdong Province (Rahm, 1936-1937 a, b). It was subsequently reported from Shanxi Province ( Bartoš, 1963), from Yunnan Province ( Beasley & Cleveland, 1996), from Sichuan Province ( Yang, 2003). It is the first report of this species from Guizhou Province.
