Isarthrus calceatus (Say, 1836)

In Canada, this uncommonly encountered eucnemid species was taken in Ontario and Québec. In the United States, I. calceatus was previously recorded from Arkansas, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Vermont, and Wisconsin ( Muona 2000; Otto and Karns 2017).
