Etymology. The species is named for J. Patola who collected the holotype and ' patolai ' is a latinized noun used in the genitive case.
Type material. Holotype ♂, PHILIPPINES, Luzon I., Albay Prov, Guinobatan , I.1976, J. Patola ( BPBM #11,974 About BPBM ).
Distribution. Philippines (Luzon Isl.).
