Etymology. The species name is a Latin adjective (fulvus, -a, -um = reddish yellow).
Type material. Holotype ♂, PHILIPPINES, Mindanao I., Misamis Or. Prov. , Mt. Balatukan, 15 km SW of Gingoog City, 1000–2000 m, 27–30.IV.1960, H. Torresvillas ( BPBM #11,937 About BPBM ).
