Known hosts. Unknown.

Discussion. Because this species was described by Kato (1931) based only on external morphology, its identity cannot be established with certainty based on the original description. As the Kato specimens were in the hands of private ownership, since Kato’s death the location of the type specimen for Midoria capitata has remained unknown. Therefore, the type was unavailable for study. Here we consider M. capitata a species inquirenda.
