status

PHOTINAIDAE: PHOTINAINAE , MICROPHOTININI

Chromatophotina cofan Rivera, 2010 —Originally described from Ecuador ( Rivera, 2010a) and later reported from Colombia ( Medellín and Salazar, 2011). This species was cited from Peru by Patel & Singh (2016a) but no specimens were reported. Although this species could eventually be found in the northern most regions of Peru, there are no confirmed records in the literature and thus we dismiss this report until more evidence is gathered.
