Key to Oriental species of the genus Holophris

1. Mesoscutellum smooth medially ( Fig. 5D )................................................. H. taiwana (Tsuneki)

- Mesoscutellum longitudinally striated medially ( Figs 4D , 6D ).................................................3

2. Body mainly black, with red to copper, green or bronze reflections partly on face, mesoscutellum, mesopleuron, metanotum, metapleuron and legs; pronotum with single row of deep punctures on anterior margin ( Fig. 4C ).. H. marginella (Mocsáry)

- Body blue to greenish-blue contrasting with red to golden on mesoscutellum and metanotum in female, and mesoscutellum and metanotum non-metallic black in male; pronotum with two rows of deep punctures on anterior margin ( Fig. 6C )........................................................................ H. thailandica Rosa, Wei, Notton & Xu , sp. nov.
