Valid name: Neoromicia tenuipinnis ( Peters, 1872)
Holotype: ZMB 4096 View Materials (missing), female, adult; “ Guinea ” [= western Africa ]; donated by Schlegel.
Comment: Kock (1969: 162) explaned that the type locality quoted by Ellerman et al. (1953: 77, Kuilu River, Congo [B]) is an unjustified assumption.
