Remarks. Hyles hippophaes subsp. bienerti occurs from Turkey, the Caucasus and southern Russia, east through Iran, Central Asia, Afghanistan to Kashmir and northwestern India, and then northeast to northern China, Mongolia, Tuva and Lake Baikal, Russia ( Pittaway & Kitching, 2013).
