Material examined. PAKISTAN, [Gilgit Baltistan,] Hindukush Mts., Shandur Pass, 5km east of Laspur, 36°08’N 72°27’E, 4300m, B. Herczig, Gy. M. László & G. Ronkay ( BMNH); Hindukush Mts., Teru, 36°14’N 72°40’E, cca. 2500m, B. Herczig, Gy. M. László & G. Ronkay ( BMNH).

Remarks. This species appears to be restricted to the Hindu Kush mountains and Kohistan District, Pakistan Danner et al., (1998). Its relationship with Hyles nervosa remains to be clarified.
