Material examined. PAKISTAN, [Baluchistan,] Ziarat, 8000ft, 6. viii. [19]29, J. W. Evans; as previous except “Quetta Prov., Ziarat”, 30°10’N 67°49’E, 14-20. vi. 1992, Z. Weidenhoffer ( BMNH).

Remarks. This subspecies is known only from two isolated populations, one at Ziarat, near Quetta, in Baluchistan ( Danner et al., 1998), the other from central Afghanistan (Bamiyan, Yakawlang district, 34°48'2.80''N 67°11'3.37''E) ( Pittaway & Kitching, 2013), but its validity as a separate subspecies remains open to doubt ( Kitching & Cadiou, 2000).
