Material examined. PAKISTAN, [Baluchistan,] Ziarat, 8000ft, 6. viii. [ 19] 29, J. W. Evans; as previous except “Quetta Prov., Ziarat”, 30 ° 10 ’N 67 ° 49 ’E, 14-20. vi. 1992, Z. Weidenhoffer ( BMNH).
Remarks. This subspecies is known only from two isolated populations, one at Ziarat, near Quetta, in Baluchistan ( Danner et al., 1998), the other from central Afghanistan (Bamiyan, Yakawlang district, 34 ° 48 ' 2.80 ''N 67 ° 11 ' 3.37 ''E) ( Pittaway & Kitching, 2013), but its validity as a separate subspecies remains open to doubt ( Kitching & Cadiou, 2000).
