Remarks. As the name suggests, most records of Rethera afghanistana are from Afghanistan. However, the species was recorded from “ Pakistan, 80km NW of Quetta, Kodschak-Pass [= Khojuk Pass], 2100m, v. 1965 ” by Daniel (1971); the four specimens are in the Naturhistorisches Museum, Vienna, Austria.
