Remarks. Rethera brandti subsp. euteles is also known from northeast Iraq, southwest through the Zagros Mountains to southern Iran (Pittaway, 2013). It is replaced in the Alborz Mountains of northern Iran by the nominotypical subspecies (Pittaway, 2013).
