Holothele Karsch, 1879: 544 View in CoL (in part: H. waikoshiemi View in CoL ); Bertani and Araújo 2005: 14, figs 1−5. Guyruita Guadanucci et al., 2007: 992 View in CoL , figs 1−15; World Spider Catalog, 2017.
Type-species: Guyruita cerrado Guadanucci et al., 2007 View in CoL .
Species included: Guyruita atlantica , Guyruita cerrado , Guyruita giupponii n. sp., Guyruita isae n. sp., and G. waikoshiemi .
Diagnosis (modified from Guadanucci et al. 2007): males of Guyruita differ from those of Dolichothele Mello-Leitão, 1923 and Catumiri Guadanucci, 2004 by the labium being as wide as long, and bearing 100−200 cuspules; from Holothele Karsch, 1879 , Schismatothele Karsch, 1879 , and Sickius Soares & Camargo, 1948 by metatarsus I which lies between the two lobes of the tibial apophysis ( G. cerrado ), or over the prolateral lobe (other Guyruita species). Females differ from those of all other Neotropical Ischnocolinae by the spermathecal receptacles bearing small lobes (except from Dolichothele ). Females also differ from those of Dolichothele by possessing a labium as wide as long, bearing 100−200 cuspules.
Distribution: Brazil and Venezuela ( Fig. 39 View FIGURE 39 ).
