Diagnosis. Size. Length, male, 2.81–3.26mm; female, 2.89–3.37mm. Width, male, 1.74–2.02mm; female, 1.69–2.02mm. As for T. tzotzil except pronotum with scales more feebly arched, with flanks with distinct oblique sulci. Aedeagus as in Fig. 189 View FIGURES 187–189 .

Geographical distribution. México (Oaxaca).

Natural history. Collected from berlese extraction of cloud forest leaf litter at elevations ranging from 1125–1700m.

Derivation of specific name. Named from the Latin lutulentus, meaning dirty, in reference to the dirt that adhers to the vestiture of most specimens.
