Diagnosis. Size. Length, male, 3.77–4.33mm; female, 3.82–4.61mm. Width, male, 1.91–2.19mm; female, 1.80–2.16mm. Pronotum moderately densely and moderately deeply punctate. Pronotum with apical constriction evident laterally as a series of separate linearly arranged punctures. Elytra with sutural stria very deeply linearly impressed and punctate from base to near midlength, stria 2 as a series of large, widely separated, impressed punctures, not linearly impressed; posterolateral area of elytra with punctures deeply impressed, continuous with punctures of striae in lateral area. Procoxae narrowly separated. Aedeagus as in Fig. 80 View FIGURES 79–81 .

Geographical distribution. México (Guerrero).

Natural history. Collected from berlese extraction of wet oak-pine-fir forest and oak forest leaf litter at elevations ranging from 2400–2775m.

Derivation of specific name. Named from the Latin semi, meaning half, and striatus, meaning grooved, in reference to the relatively deep striae, which are limited to the middle portion of the elytra.
