Males SVL = 19.2–25.5 mm, females SVL = 23–32 mm ( Suárez and Alzate-Basto 2014). Wide head, rounded snout and anteriorly directed eyes; venter white, par- tially transparent, bones visible. A total of 19 individu- als were found, they were observed between 1000 and 1150 m (Station 2), on leaves close to streams in riparian forests, some individuals showing parental care. It is distributed from southern Mexico to Colombia, from the western slope of the Cordillera Occidental to the western slope of the Cordillera Oriental, and along the Colombian Caribbean ( Acosta-Galvis 2012b).
