Type locality. Between Balso Puerto and Moyabamba, Peru .

Distribution. Known from Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, mostly in Amazonia ( Plt. 51A View Plate 51 ). In Brazil, recorded from a single locality in western Amazonia ( Bernarde et al., 2012a; Plt. 51A View Plate 51 ) at low elevation ( Plt. 51B View Plate 51 ). Previous maps and taxonomy in Campbell and Lamar (2004). Observed in the field in forest ( Campbell and Lamar, 2004).
