Type locality. Salesópolis , state of São Paulo, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 36A View Plate 36 ). Restricted to the central portion of the Atlantic Forest ( Plt. 36A View Plate 36 ) from intermediate to high elevations ( Plt. 36B View Plate 36 ). Observed in the field in forest, near wetlands ( Antunes and Haddad, 2009; Forlani et al., 2010).
