Type locality. Brazil .

Distribution. Known from northern South America in Brazil, French Guiana, and Suriname in Amazonian forest ( Plt. 222A View Plate 222 ). In Brazil, recorded in the northern portion of Amazonia and in Guianan savannas ( Plt. 222A View Plate 222 ), mostly at low elevations ( Plt. 222B View Plate 222 ). Observed in the field in forest and disturbed areas ( Martins and Oliveira, 1998; Starace, 2015; Morais et al., 2010).
