Atractus caete Passos et al., 2010

Type locality. Surroundings of the Pedra Talhada Biological Reserve, Quebrangulo, state of Alagoas, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 156A ). Known only from two localities locality in the northernmost portion of the Atlantic Forest, close to its contact with the Caatinga ( Plt. 156A ), at intermediate elevations ( Plt. 156B ). No detailed field data on habitat use are available for this species.
