Type locality. Brazil .

Distribution. Known from Argentina and Brazil ( Plt. 317A View Plate 317 ). In Brazil, widespread in Atlantic Forest and Araucaria Forest ( Plt. 317A View Plate 317 ), mostly from intermediate to high elevations ( Plt. 317B View Plate 317 ). Observed in the field in forest and open disturbed areas ( Hartmann,2005; Morato,2005; Di-Bernardo et al., 2007a; Hartmann and Giasson, 2008).
