Diploperla robusta Stark & Gaufin View in CoL

is distributed broadly along the Appalachian Mountains from Connecticut southwest to Tennessee and west to Indiana ( Kondratieff, 2004). This species was collected recently from a Cumberland Plateau stream in northeastern Alabama, representing a new state record and a small southern range extension.
