Ischnus truncator (FABRICIUS) var. nigritus KISS 1924: 46 – Lectotypus () von DILLER (1983: 56) festgelegt. Ein Paralectotypus () befindet sich im Museum Stockholm. Der Typenfundort Hadad heisst jetzt Hodod in Rumänien.

G ü l t i g e r N a m e Heterischnus filiformis (GRAVENHORST 1829) View in CoL (syn.nov.). DILLER (l.c.) synonymisiert das Taxon mit H. truncator (FABRICIUS) , aber die Interpretation dieses Namens hat sich geändert ( HORSTMANN 2001: 36 f.).
