REMARKS

Liu et al. (2002: 80) designated a neotype (as lectotype) based on an illustration in Botanical Magazine ( Baker 1891: t. 7182). However, as original material exists, that designation must be superseded. Note: The work ( Inuma 1874) was published in 20 volumes. The pagination is not like a European book. These volumes were bound as traditional Japanese books; the printed sheets were folded and the side edges were bound by strings.
