Antenna clavate; in holotype antennomeres in following proportions: 10:6:22:12:11:9:8:6:5:8. ADOs present in antennomeres 6–10. In holotype head dull, bare, granulate; occipital carina incomplete, only present behind and shortly on sides of lateral ocelli (laterally not reaching eyes); ocellar triangle equilateral. In specimen from Madagascar, 21°15.05’S 47°24.43’E, POL = 3; OL = 3; OOL = 11. Palpal formula 6/3. In holotype pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, dull, bare, smooth, alutaceous, with some punctures on disc; disc humped; posterior edges of pronotum rounded, not produced into lobes. Mesoscutum dull, bare, granulate. In holotype and in specimen from Madagascar, 21°15.05’S 47°24.43’E, notauli complete, posteriorly very close and strongly converging; minimum distance between notauli shorter than POL (1:3). Mesoscutellum of holotype shiny, unsculptured. Mesoscutellum of specimen from Madagascar, 21°15.05’S 47°24.43’E, dull, granulate. Metanotum very reduced and short, reticulate rugose.
