Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna tes- taceous, except distal extremity of antennomere 10 darkened; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs yellow. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 9:4:5:4:4:5:5:5:5:6.5. Head convex, dull, covered with short thin setae, granulate, with many very evanescent tracks of rugosities; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 5; OL = 3; OOL = 4; OPL = 4; TL = 5. Pronotum anteriorly crossed by slight transverse impression, dull, granulate, covered with long thin setae; pronotal tubercle reaching tegula; posterior surface shorter than mesoscutum (6:12). Mesoscutum dull, as sculptured as head. Notauli incomplete, very shortly visible near anterior margin of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc without strong transverse posterior keel, dull, reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity dull, reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (2:6). Protarsomeres in following proportions: 50:16:20:20:68. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 79B View FIGURE 79 ) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 79B View FIGURE 79 ) with two rows of 1 + 7 or 2 + 5 lamellae; apex with four lamellae. tibial spurs 1/1/2.

♂. Fully winged; body length 1.5–1.9 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna of holotype brown, except scape and pedicel yellow; antenna of paratype from Yemen, Lahj , completely brown-testaceous; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs testaceous, except metacoxa, club of metafemur and metatibia partly darkened. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 6:4:4.5:4.5:4.5:5:4.5:5:5:7. Head dull, granulate and with tracks of rugosities; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 4.5; OL = 3; OOL = 4; OPL = 2; TL = 3. Mesoscutum of holotype dull, slightly granulate, with granulation more evident on anterior half and with posterior half punctate and very slightly granulate; mesoscutum of paratype from Yemen, Lahj , completely and strongly granulate; in two specimens from South Africa, Pretoria , mesoscutum almost completely unsculptured and partly very slightly granulate. Notauli of holotype incomplete, reaching approximately 0.5 × length of mesoscutum; in paratype from Yemen, Lahj , notauli faintly visible. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Metapectal-propodeal disc without transverse posterior keel; in specimen from Tanzania, Mkomazi Game Reserve , metapectal-propodeal disc with irregular transverse keel separating metapectal-propodeal disc and propodeal declivity; metapectal-propodeal disc completely reticulate rugose, dull; propodeal declivity without longitudinal keels, with areolae less wide than those of metapectal-propodeal disc. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs& Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (2:4). Paramere ( Fig. 77F View FIGURE 77 ) without inner process, with numerous papillae on inner side. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
