Among the specimens of Cerambycidae collected in our study sites were members of the tribe Aerenicini , which was revised by Martins & Galileo (1998). This revision provides identification keys to genera and species. Aerenicini currently contains 132 species in 26 genera ( Monné 2015b). Among the genera of Aerenicini is Aereniphaula , which was described by Galileo & Martins (1990) for a single species, A. machadorum , from Minas Gerais, Brazil (currently the only species described in the genus). Another genus in the tribe, Suipinima , was proposed by Martins & Galileo (2004) in their description of four new species: S. pitanga , S. uma , S. suturalis , S. marginalis . These authors also transferred Antodice eccentrica Galileo & Martins, 1992 to Suipinima . Currently, Suipinima is composed of five species and has a geographical distribution restricted to Bolivia, Brazil, and Ecuador.
