Diagnosis. Female. Body length 14.2–14.9 mm. MID ca. 3.9 × as long as LID ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 G). Apical margin of clypeus broadly round, with a small broad median notch ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 G). Pygidial plate an isosceles triangle in shape, its apical margin somewhat truncate ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 F). Body black, but largely reddish brown to ferruginous in following parts: apical half or slightly less of all femur, all tibiae, all tarsi, and all spurs and spines.
Male. Smaller, 12.1–14.3 mm long. MID ca. 3.3 × as long as LID ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 H). Bristles on pygidial plate pale golden. Apicomedian notch of clypeus smaller than that of female ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 H). Genitalia as in Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 G: gonocoxite rod-shape with triangular proximal tubercle; middle part of aedeagus somewhat constricted.
