Type material examined (1♂)

Holotype 1♂: India (Kerala), Cardamon Hills, Periyar, env. de l’hôtel Aranga , 959 m, 4.11.1972, leg. R. Mussard, C. Besuchet & I. Löbl, genitalia R. Roy n°4043, collection MHNG, seul spécimen connu.

Additional material examined (1♂): ♂, NHMUK012496245 // Travancore/ Tea Co. G.S.Imray. / 1903-173 .

Diagnostic features: lack of lobes on meso and metathoracic femur, ocellus big, huge lateral lobes on 3 rd to 7 th segments, presents of the ventral sternal lobes.
