( Figs 1–18 View FIGURES 1 – 4 View FIGURES 5 – 9 View FIGURES 10 – 18 )

Material examined. Holotype. AS-EM07/4. E-Malaysia: Borneo, Sarawak, Gunung Gading National Park, near Lundu, primary forest, 600‒800m, 01°42'50"N, 109°50'09"E, 28 May 2007, leg. A. Schulz. Paratypes. One female and two males, same data as holotype.

Description. Female. Length of idiosoma 940–950 µm, width 750–780 µm. Shape irregularly oval, vertex slightly elongated, relatively narrow; posterior margin rounded, with shallow subcaudal incisions ( Figs 1, 4 View FIGURES 1 – 4 , 6 View FIGURES 5 – 9 ). Colour reddish brown.

Dorsal idiosoma ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 4 ). Dorsal and marginal shields completely separated. Dorsal shield neotrichous, all dorsal shield setae T-shaped, with short stem and long crossbar (ca. 23–25 µm). Surface of dorsal shield sculptured by deep and irregular pits. Surface of largest pits covered by a few short lines ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 4 ). Marginal shield without sculptural pattern; with setae simple and serrate marginally, ca. 35–37 µm in length ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 4 ).

Ventral idiosoma ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 4 ). Tritosternum with narrow quadrangular basis; laciniae with two smooth and two apically pilose branches ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 10 – 18 ). Sternal shield without ornamentation, with seven pairs of smooth, short (ca. 12–16 µm) and needle-like sternal setae. Genital shield oblong, ca. 350 µm long, ca. 200 µm wide, linguliform, with reticulate sculptural pattern on anteriormost part and small oval pits on posterolateral parts. Opisthogastric region with a pair of deep furrows bordered by several pairs of distally ramose setae (ca. 42–46 µm) ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 5 – 9 ). Two pairs of ventral setae smooth, needle-like (ca. 15–17µm), others expanded and ramose (ca. 42–46 µm). Surface of ventral shield mostly smooth, except for small finely punctate postanal area ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 5 – 9 ). Adanal and postanal setae similar in shape to ventral setae, but shorter (ca. 11–13µm). Stigmata situated between coxae II and III. Prestigmatic part of peritremes long, with several curves and almost M-shaped, poststigmatic part absent ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 10 – 18 ). Pedofossae deep, their surfaces smooth.

Gnathosoma ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 10 – 18 ). Corniculi horn-like, internal malae longer than corniculi and divided into divided into four fringed branches. Hypostomal setae h1 (ca. 60–62 µm) and h2 smooth (ca. 35–36 µm), h3 and h4 marginally serrate (ca. 30–35 µm), h3 situated close to h2. Palp trochanter with one short and smooth seta and one long and marginally serrate seta. Other setae on palp smooth and needle-like. Epistome subtriangular and deeply serrate on anterior margins ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 10 – 18 ), chelicerae with two teeth on movable and fixed digits, internal sclerotised node present, one dorsal seta present ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 10 – 18 ).

Legs ( Figs 15–18 View FIGURES 10 – 18 ). Legs I–IV each with a pair of claws at the tip of the ambulacral prolongation, claws on legs I smaller. Setae on legs mostly needle-like, several robust and marginally serrate setae situated on all legs. Flap-like extensions present on femora II–IV.

Male. Length of idiosoma 960–970 µm, width 780–810 µm (n=2). Shape as in female.

Dorsal idiosoma: Ornamentation and chaetotaxy of dorsal shield as for female.

Ventral idiosoma: Ornamentation and chaetotaxy of ventral shield as in female. Sternal shield without sculptural pattern, except for reticulate sculptural pattern near anterior margin ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 5 – 9 ). Positions of sternal setae as in Fig. 8 View FIGURES 5 – 9 . Sternal setae smooth and needle-like (ca. 11–15 µm long), except setae St1 T-shaped. Genital shield rounded and placed between coxae III. Other characters same as in female.

Etymology. The name of the new species refers to the province where the specimens were collected.
