Isotypus: COSTA RICA. Spring 1922, leg A.H. Slocum, Herbarium of Roland Thaxter in the Farlow Herbarium, FH 5748, DWM 7686 [one box, K-M001435072], ( Fig. 6J View FIGURE 6 ).
Notes. Specimen DWM 7686 in the Mitchell collection is an isotype, as cited in the publication of the species, but instead of a slide of 2 sporocarps ( Moreno et al. 2010: 202), they are in an Eppendorf tube inside one of Mitchell’s boxes. The box only notes the name of the species, “2 sporocaps” and “typus”. Nothing further is in the notebook.
