Echinostelium colliculosum K.D. Whitney & H.W. Keller, Mycologia 72(3):641 (1980)

Paratypus: USA. California, Lassen Co., ½ miles N.E. of Eagle Lake Field Station, on bark of Juniperus occidentalis in moist chamber, 13 Jul 1977, leg. K.D. Whitney 639, DWM 3650 [one slide, K-M001435039], ( Fig. 4B ).

Notes. This slide is one of the paratypes sent by the authors to various institutions and individuals: UC, NY, K, C.J. Alexopoulos, D.T. Kowalski and N.E. Nannenga-Bremekamp ( Whitney & Keller 1980: 642). In BPI there are two boxes with the holotype of this species, BPI 805798, BPI 819049.
