Echinostelium arboreum H.W. Keller & T.E. Brooks, Mycologia 68(6):1207 (1977)

Paratypus: MEXICO. Yucatán, at the archeological site known as Kabah, on dried bark in moist chamber, 6 Feb 1975, leg. H.W. Keller 1381, DWM 2450 [one slide, K-M001435041], ( Fig. 3N ).

Notes. The holotype of this tiny species is in BPI 737643. Slides of paratypes, according to Keller & Brooks (1977: 1209), were sent to the following persons and institutions: L.S. Olive, D.T. Kowalski, D.W. Mitchell, NY and K. This is the slide Mitchell received.
