Dimensions: 37.1 μm long, 17.2 μm wide; 14 striae in 10 μm, 15 areolae in 10 μm.
Diagnostics: Valve broadly elliptic with rostrate apices. Areolae radial. Raphe ends opposite deflect.
Comments: The raphe system of the specimen matches the genus Moreneis ( Park et al. 2012) , i.e., the central raphe endings are deflected in opposite directions, and the valve shape is close to M. hexagona . But the valve size is larger than the original specimens (22–34 μm long, 11–12 μm wide).
