Material examined. Catalonia, La Llacuna, Plana d’Ancosa (725 m) UTM: 31 TCF 78 About TCF 20.VII.2016, J. M. Olmo- Vidal (1♂ holotype) ( MCNB) . Catalonia, La Llacuna, Plana d’Ancosa (725 m) UTM: 31 TCF 78 About TCF 20.VI.2014, X. Bayer, C. Guasch & J.M. Olmo-Vidal (3♂ paratypes, 3♀ paratypes) ( MCNB) .
Description. Male ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 2 – 3 ). General coloration grey or brown variable. Inside hind femora blue at the base to the middle part. Inside hind tibiae also blue. Antennae 16-segmented and not very flattened. Frontal ridge with longitudinal furrow narrowed below median ocellus and then parallel toward the clypeus. Pronotum with the carina arcuate only in the prozona and interrupted by three sulci. Hind angle of the pronotum rounded. In lateral view the principal transverse sulcus between prozona and metazona clearly incised. Metazona flattened. Prosternal process trapezoidal from below. Mesosternal lobes are approximately equal width than long and width than mesosternal interspace. Macropterus, tegmina almost reaching the end of abdomen. Hind wing with de 2nd anal vein curved and bifurcate. Hind tibiae with double rows of several stout spines and a pair of larger stout spurs on each side. Male epiproct rectangular, pointed on the hind margin and with a longitudinal furrow; cerci stout, pointed and longer than epiproct. Subgenital plate pointed with sharp median concavity. Epiphallus longer than wide with short posterior edge. Pseudolophi of epiphallus parallel with the ancorae large and pointed. Penis valves long ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 ).
Female ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 ). Similar to male, but much larger and stouter. Pronotum with the principal transverse sulcus strong and wide V-shaped. Prosternal process trapezoidal from below. Mesosternal lobes are approximately equal width than long and width than mesosternal interspace ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 6 – 7 ). Tegmina squamipterous extend at most to end of second abdominal segment. Median carina of the abdomen projecting tooth-like at the end of tergites with a terminal spines. In lateral view the spines of abdominal tergites of females covering only 1/5 of the following tergite. Lateral margins of tergites with some supplementary spines. Supra-anal plate elongate with median groove. Epiproct long with transverse suture and a longitudinal furrow. Cerci very short and thick with broadly rounded tips. Ovipositor valves cram colored, stout with slightly curved black tips. Sub-genital plate rectangular, with a triangular lobe in the middle.
