Etymology. In honor of Clarence and Marie Louise Goodnight, who described S. magna .

Diagnosis. Male genitalia. Ventral plate slightly concave on distal border (corner prominent), lateral borders slightly convex on median region, with 5 setae on basal group, two of them more internal and much smaller, 1 subapical and curved distal setae. Dorsal process present. Stylus strongly curved, apex not inflated, without stylar apophysis ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 C, D). For the rest see Pinto-da-Rocha & Kury (2003: 202,203).

Note. Santinezia magna Goodnight & Goodnight 1942 is preocupied by Phareicranaus magnus Roewer 1932 , the transfer of first to Phareicranaus justify the proposition of a new name.
