Geographic distribution. Indo-west Pacific. Japan ( Pola et al. 2008), Indonesia, Philippines (Gosliner & Behrens 1997), Australia ( Pola et al. 2008), Tanzania ( Debelius & Kuiter 2007) and Mozambique.
