' Afroeudesis View in CoL group'
A symmetrical pattern composed of many setae on the frons and vertex is the primary key character of the ' Afroeudesis group', not known in any other Glandulariini. Additionally, all members of this group share the most convex site of the eye closer to the occipital constriction than to the mandibular base; the pronotum with a transverse antebasal groove and at least two pairs of antebasal pits; the mesoventral intercoxal process carinate; and the anterior metaventral process present and clearly delimited from the mesoventrite.
In a preliminary phylogenetic analysis of Glandulariini, this group was recovered as a clade (Jałoszyński, in prep.).
